English Dept

{ For Emily Gown / Circa Gown / Giselle Gown / Tea/Blush Gown / Oysters & Pearls Gown / Tempest Gown / For Emily Cropped Gown }

Let’s preface this with, no, I’m not getting married anytime soon, but stumbled across this designer a few days ago and had to share!

How gorgeous are all of these dresses? They have a style that reminds me a little of Anthropologie. And I love me some Anthro. Would you believe me if I told you this designer sells her beautiful gowns on Etsy? Her shop is called English Dept and is full of wonderful finds! I would have never thought about buying a wedding dress on Etsy, but the prices aren’t as steep as some fancy bridal salons and you’ll end up with a fabulous unique gown. I love the shortened styles for those who aren’t as traditional.

My personal favorite is the strapless version of the Tea/Blush gown and I’d pair it with some bright heels for a little extra fun! Which would you pick? Would you buy a wedding dress on Etsy?

Awesome Etsy Find

Decorating a new home is truly a labor of love. You can’t do it overnight. I want my place to be a reflection of who I am, and it takes time to collect meaningful pieces. It’s easy to fill it with random stuff, but that’s just not as fun!

I’ve been browsing Etsy for artwork to hang in our obscenely long and empty hallway. It needs some TLC and personality desperately! I stumbled upon an Etsy shop called RozArt that specializes in whimsical oil paintings and prints. The best part is that they’re totally affordable! My favorites are of the farm animals. Maybe it’s the Texas in me, but I find them amusing and fun! Who knew cows could have so much personality?

Most of them are smaller, about 12in. by 12in. which is great for incorporating into a gallery style hallway! Which is your favorite?
