Looking Back

How is it already Monday? I feel like I did nothing all weekend. Which I guess is alright when you’ve got a sinus infection. Here’s a quick look at what I did. Sorry I’m not sorry for taking a million pictures of Oliver. I spent most of my weekend with him so it seemed only natural.

Saturday morning I ate brunch at Toast with Rob. The pesto and prosciutto scramble always hits the spot! And as you can see, it was a beautiful, sunny day, although still cold.

Walked with Oliver. He loved the snow, hated all the salt on the ground though, must have burned his paws.

Relaxed on the couch with the Snoozy Bear again. Talk about a lazy lazy weekend.

Finally gave in and purchased these lamps. Unfortunately the other one is on backorder and the lamp shades have clearly not arrived. Also, now I’m thinking I should paint my dressers a very light grey, the blue and gold reminds me too much of my high school’s colors. Thoughts?

An up-close shot of Oli snoozing once again. He’s very good at that.

Jumbo margaritas at Cafe El Tapatio, the only real Tex-Mex food I’ve found in Chicago. Jumbo marg was a bad idea, I barely finished half — not the best choice.

Happy Monday friends!

Leave the dresser blue for now. That color is still in the scene and it give the gold a great pop.
