By the way, coming back to work is harder than I would have thought… I can’t remember the last time I was this distracted. It’d been about a year since I’d made any major changes to the look of my blog, mostly because I really liked my last design. But when the distractions really set in, I started playing around with a new look rather than answering all my emails and I’m really digging my new look. I used elements of my old blog — the hearts and arrows — and simplified the whole thing.
I swoon over neutrals. I do love a good pop of color and sometimes I think my brain gets confused on which one I like more. Lately it’s been fresh, clean neutrals. But I did throw in a little pink to please the other side of my brain. Neutrals are found frequently on my Pinterest page and these are a few that inspired my new design.
I’m now having a serious desire to redecorate every room with more neutral colors. Ahhhh! Look what I’ve started…
Anyway, I decided to blame it on the new year. It called for a fresh start, and I hope you like the new look as much as I do!
