I hate to be a complainer, but it is just blasted cold today. The high is suppose to be 12. TWELVE DEGREES. Let’s not forget the predicted -1 temperatures after wind chill is factored in. Do you know what it feels like to walk a dog in that kind of weather? Not good.
Since we’ve gotten back from our walk, I’ve decided that it’s going to be a sweatpants kinda day. Mostly because sweatpants are the only thing I can pull over my fleece-lined leggings and still have mobility. I’m putting on a big pot of hot coffee and Oliver is curled up by the furnace.
As cold and miserable as it is outside, I actually enjoy days like this every once and a while. It makes for a great day to work and gives me a perfect excuse to cozy up with my little guy for an afternoon nap! Oh, and soup will be on the menu!
